Harbor Mind — About Me
My name is Anastasiya, I’m a practicing psychologist. I got into the profession from the client's chair when I first went to a psychologist and realized that it was mine.I came to therapy to deal with myself, my emotional addiction and my life. It worked! I have over 300 hours of personal therapy under my belt.I completed a professional retraining course at the Institute of Applied Psychology in the Social Sphere, studied at the Online Institute of Practical Psychology, and received professional retraining under the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program at the Academy of Modern Psychology. I am constantly learning and developing in the profession and am currently undergoing training in crisis psychology. I have been practicing for 16 months and during this time I have helped many clients. I work in an integrative approach, that is, I combine several modalities in my practice – cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and processing (EMDR), body-oriented therapy, I also use in my work such a tool as metaphorical associative maps and exercises from emotional-imaginative therapy.
I am a psychologist, and I believe in people, in their strength and ability to overcome
crises and difficult conditions. I love the themes of emotional dependence, abuse,
self-worth, autonomy and relationships. All this was once my great personal pain,
including my unsuccessful experiences and insights that I received during my life,
therapy, studies and work with clients.
I don't believe in short-term therapy and "healing" in 1-2 sessions. But I know that
psychotherapy can change a person very deeply. Therapy is primarily about relationships,
in which the client gets a new relationship experience and the opportunity to face
different facets of himself. This experience is not always pleasant, but there is no
other way. Healing and growing up happens when you see and accept the truth about
yourself, others, and the world.

EMDR for short-term therapy
EMDR therapy is carried out in accordance with protocols selected by a psychologist for a specific client, taking into account his problem and condition. First, you need to collect an anamnesis, diagnose and make a therapy plan...
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the Short-Term
I use short-term CBT-based interventions (Exposure, Cognitive Restructuring, Mindfulness, Integrative Behavioral Couples and others) with a comprehensive assessment for shorter-term treatment issues such as phobias or social anxiety.

EMDR is most often used for post-traumatic stress disorder. EMDR can also be used for various symptoms of anxiety, low mood, addictive behavior, chronic pain, eating disorders, and, of course, for various types of emotional trauma.
CBT protocols are evidence-based. That means they have proven results to help your clients recover from complex anxiety disorders in a short amount of time. It is exciting for clients and clinicians.
